About Nananu-i-ra

The island of Nananu-i-Ra has an irregular shape, which has resulted in many beautiful beaches in the various curves of the island's geographical formation. Indeed at one point, one may walk from a sunrise facing beach to a sunset facing beach in just a few minutes.  Everyone knows the beauty of a sunset, but when you visit Nananu-i-Ra, don't miss the opportunity also of wandering to the beach and watching the sun rise. Had you stood on this beach in 1789, you may have just caught a glimpse of Captain William Bligh steering his long boat and crew on its journey from the famous Mutiny on the Bounty in Tahiti to safety of Timor in Indonesia!
